Complete renovation of the central chilled water plant serving the hospital cooling system. The system design includes change from constant flow system to variable flow system, high efficiency chillers, hydraulic analysis of distribution system and building management system upgrade. The project includes a new hybrid chiller plant with high efficiency electric chillers and absorption chillers. The project also features complete upgrade of the building automation system using Schneider ecosystem platform with optimized operating sequences for automatic and proper sequencing of various system. Due to the change in pumping systems, we performed detailed hydraulic analysis and developed sequence to modulate chilled water flow based on various differential pressure requirements through out the building. The optimization of system includes improvement in chilled water delta T, condenser water for electric chiller and absorption chillers, optimized pumping of chilled water system and proper equipment dispatch.
