Oneil Gayle, PE, LEED AP, CEM, CBCP, CEA
Oneil Gayle is responsible for Loring’s practice in Energy Services and Commissioning, which he instituted and has developed into a thriving service area for the firm. A certified energy manager, building commissioning professional and energy auditor, in the past three years Oneil's group has overseen energy audits and retro-commissioning on more than 12.5 million sf of space. In addition to his energy work, he also manages design contracts for some of Loring's major public sector clients. Beginning his career as a summer intern at Loring in 2002, Oneil now mentors many entry level engineers, helping them work through complicated problems and assess potential solutions. His goals for Loring are to uphold the firm’s legacy of excellence in project delivery for an expanding portfolio of clients and sectors, maintain the company's open door policy, and expand its vibrant and culturally diverse community of employees.
Licensed in New York, Oneil has a diploma in Mechanical Plant Engineering from the University of Technology in Jamaica and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the New York Institute of Technology. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Building Commissioning Association’s North East Chapter and is a member of the 2015 NYC Energy Conservation Code Advisory Committee.
