LORING provided design services for the replacement
of existing chillers (417 tons for Hepburn and 230 tons for
Grossnickle) with a double effect absorption chiller that
utilizes high pressure steam from the campus central steam
plant. Project included redesign of mechanical equipment room,
replacement of chilled water and condenser water pumps,
replacement of induced draft cooling towers, and
interconnection to existing chilled water distribution system.
