LORING provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, security and telecommunications systems design for a new 100,000 sf, 260-unit dormitory building consisting of two residential towers linked at the base. The building was constructed within an existing 50-foot wide vacant lot with frontage on 121st and 122nd streets in midtown Manhattan. In conjunction with the Student Residence Building, LORING engineered a new central chilled water plant at the Teachers College Campus.
