Joseph R. Loring & Associates, Inc. provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection services for this 250,000 sf corporate headquarters complex.  LORING initially provided engineering services for a 60,000 sf expansion to the existing 90,000 sf building including a 5,000 sf multi-purpose room. Subsequent projects included the addition of a new, adjacent 100,000 sf building with a connecting bridge to the original building and the complete upgrade of the existing building, including a new security center, new atrium, new executive suite, cafeteria and entrance lobby.

LORING also provided engineering services to improve the reliability of the central data center, including redundant UPS, backup A/C units and FM 200 suppression systems. LORING also provided schematic design engineering services for an additional 125,000 sf and 200,000 sf garage building that would be connected to the existing building complex. All buildings at MBIA are provided with 100% generator backup.
