Chilled Water Plant - Commissioning

LORING provided technical assistance to the Fresh Meadows Retail Center to reduce energy costs through the NYSERDA New Construction Program.  In addition, LORING prepared a commissioning report to include a description of the system and equipment, operational sequences, plant documentation and training for two new 700-ton absorption chillers.  This was intended to be a guide to operations management staff in order to aid the Owner in achieving projected energy savings.  LORING was also involved in the setting of criteria, review of design, documentation of shop drawings, O&M Manuals and training program, development of the pre-functional checklists and test protocols, and the witnessing of tests.
