LORING provided complete HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineering services for the design and construction administration of a five story, 90,000 sf educational facility. (Project was design-build)

Heating is provided by two 100 bhp gas/oil steam boilers. These boilers provide low pressure steam to perimeter radiation. They also provide low pressure steam to heating coils in the various air handling units serving the building.

Chilled water (44 deg. F.) is provided to the air handling units for cooling by two, 150 ton electric reciprocating chillers with remote air cooled condensers.

Main electric service is from a 4,000 amp Con Edison service. A main switch board provides 208/120 power to equipment and lighting. A 300 KW emergency generator has been provided to power life safety.
